Tempotec sonata hd pro is one of the best portable dacs available in the market...
It's the only portable dac that does 2v(with a tempotec bhd firmware update) and the overall transperency is as good as my topping e30.
I have tried to contact hifinage for a minor issue with a particular accessory(nothing significant mind you) but they have chosen to ignore my emails.
You can definitely buy the product from here as it's definitely brand new and shipping is relatively fast as well.
I wish the customer support was better though.

Regarding your issue, we shipped you the brand new sealed pack unit so the manufacturer might have forgotten to put in the hi-res sticker and we did not have any replacement unit box to send you the sticker. So we hereby apologise on behalf of the manufacturer.
I have used tempotec sonata hd 2 previously, it was awesome but lost it, then I bought this masterpiece, totally worth it now.

Never had experience with a Dac before and with this, the audio is not harsh anymore at higher volume for my pc.
