Cables
Cables come in mainly two connectors:
1. MMCX
2. 2-Pin Cables
While the majority of the earphones out there uses the MMCX connectors but there are many earphones which come in 2-Pin connectors as well. The material of the cables is Copper, Silver and the mixture of Copper and Silver which is known as hybrid cable.
In Copper cable, there are OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) and OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast). OCC cables are generally considered as the highest quality copper cable than the OFC cables. OCC cables are also the costliest of the bunch.
