Amazing sound…All rounder with high impedance under budget
Well…I came to know about monk plus in amazon.in. I was searching for some high impedance earbuds for my LG v30, (I needed a high impedance one to make the full use of the quad DAC in v30). I generally use my over the ear headphone which has a high impedance (Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro…250 ohm)…But though it sounds absolutely amazing with the DAC…It’s not easy to carry the beast with you during daily commute…
And my search came to an end with monk plus vs sound magic…I choose monk plus without a huge expectation…
As it was a lot cheaper…Especially if bought from the hifinage website…
Well…The looks and built was not that impressive…But when I put it on…Wow…Mind blown…And honestly, I was not expecting this (cheap earbuds…Plastic build…Looks are not that impressive…Barely above 50 ohms)…But wow
The sound is amazing…Perfect balanced output(not for bass heads)…And over the time I realised the build was not as flimsy as I thought…And the most important I can carry it without any extra trouble of carrying a case…
Amazing earbuds at an amazing price…I was so impressed I immediately ordered another monk plus with android volume control module…
Go for it friends…Monk plus is most probably the best earbuds under ₹3000 category in India right now…

Simply Blown Away
Didn’t set many expectations after ordering these headsets. After receiving them immediately plugged them into my new LG G7 and tested them without DTS X and Hifi-Quad Dac they sounded normal at 40% volume. BUT after turning on the Quad Dac the sound quality was amazing. Also turned on the DTS x to enhance the experience further and they sound simply superb. Remember you need phones like LG G7 or LG V series to drive these headphones and to get the maximum output. Without them, you won’t feel any difference. Just go for it. I take a lot of calls so ordered the android version. Yet to test the mic and call quality. Will update the review once testing them.

Biggest Bang for Your Buck. Literally!
These sound awesomely well, have a pretty decent sound stage for the price they’re sold. VE Monk Plus, I am amazed. Coming to the comfort levels, buds take time getting used to, initially you might (in fact, surely) not be able to wear them for a long period of time but you can’t expect great comfort levels of super expensive earphones in this price range instead you are getting greater sound for few bucks only. Wire quality is not bad too and you get 3.5mm gold plug. Some extra tips in red & blue in colour (4 each). Overall, a great deal for the price.
