xDuoo XD-05 Plus

i ordered the product on 6/1/2021 and received a open boxed product with display fault. and i applied for the replacement on 11/1/2021 after receiving the product.
they said they will arrange return pickup on 12/1/2021 and replace with a new dac. lets see how the replacement goes. i will update my futher experience here.
this is my first purchase from hifinage and am really sad. after waiting for 6 long days i was in an expectation to get a perfect product.

Really happy with the XD 05 Plus and the service provided by Hifinage. Its among one of the most powerful portable amps out there.I use it with my AKG K712 Pro, and it drives them with authority. 1W at 32 ohms is serious power for a portable. More importantly, this helps in unleashing the wide soundstage which the 712 is highly regarded for. It has a musical sound representation which is pleasing. Its not very analytical/ technical in nature. Attack is fast and quick. Decay, especially decay of bass, could be slightly quicker, especially for fast music. But hey, I'm really nitpicking. Excellent build quality. Service from hifinage, with respect to answering queries was really prompt. Packaging too was good. Appreciate it, and a huge shout out to Hifinage for providing this powerful portable amp, which is a rare find, and a boon for people like me, who use hard to drive cans on the move :) Kudos

I was doubtful at the start with a new site and not completely sure of the reliability. But the product i wanted for my HE560 is only available either here or in Ali-express, i took the plunge anyway ;) !!

There was a lot of delay with respect to delivery of the product. And i only requested a priority delivery because it was a birthday gift. Even with the delay they didn't consider my request and that's the reason for my star reduction. I was continuously following up with the seller.

Product was received in excellent package - no complaints here. I am hopeful that rest of the customer service and everything else would be great now on-wards !!!

Xduoo XD-05 Plus is my first amp dac that I bought after reading/watching a lot of reviews of almost all of portable dac/amp that can power my Bayerdynamics Dt 990 Pro & DT 770 Pro which are 250 & 80 ohms respectively. At the time I was looking for this dac amp, it was not available in India at all. I even tried to order it from Aliexpress, but they were not able to ship it to India cause of the pandemic lockdowns. I was really surprise and happy to finally found out the Hifinage started to sell these in India. I immediately contact Hifinage and place my order for both the dac/amp and the Bluetooth module. Though I had to wait for quite a long time (cause of pandemic), I was so excited to experience the product when Hifinage finally confirm they have shipped my order.

Now that I have used it over 3 months, I agree completely with all the amazing things that famous reviewers on YouTube like "Z Reviews" and other online reviewers on the internet. Xduoo XD 05 is portable dac amp but has desktop AKM chip which are able to power my Bayerdynamics 250 ohms headphones to its full capacity at low gain. It opens up my music listening experience to a whole new level. Both my DT 990 Pro and DT 770 Pro sound amazing clear crisp and produce excellent soundstage. The Bass with the bass boost switch off, has good slam and rumble without being overly assertive or bloated. With the bass boost switch on the bass is more forward. The mids reproduction is also really good without any coloration or elevation of the upper mids. The vocals are good without rendering any grain or pushed forward. Similarly, the xduoo XD 05 plus does a good job of presenting the treble without introducing unwanted slant or noise on it. Its rather well extended with good energy, but not pushed forward or exaggerated.
