Venture Electronics Monk Plus
Price range: ₹ 799.00 through ₹ 1,249.00
The VE Monk Plus from Venture electronics is a closed-design set of earbuds housing a 15.4mm dynamic driver in plastic. Celebrated for producing a level of sound quality seldom found in the earbud category at an affordable price, they’ve taken the audio community by storm.
The sound signature is balanced, natural and engaging, with mids pleasingly warm and a smooth Treble. This harmonizes almost all genres and makes the VE Monk Plus a perfect earbud. The Monk uses its 15.4mm driver to produce a sound that is open, light and detailed.
The build quality also hits above the price, with strong and durable housings that are entirely made of plastic and a soft-touch, tangle-resistant cable that finishes in a straight 3.5-millimetre plug.
The VE Monk earbud offers an amazingly rich listening experience for those on a budget. The sound is balanced, it displays excellent details and has a big soundstage not common with some premium earbuds. Lighten your wallet and get ready to smile knowing that you got an awesome set of earbuds that sounds well above their price range.

Excellent performance for a small price
This review is for the no-mic variant. So I don’t know how the microphone performs.
Pros:
Though these cost sub 500 INR, they sound brilliant.
The details are quite good and the soundstage is decent as well (reasonably open).
Mid Bass is quite good with a hint of sub-bass. I have added 2 layers of the included foams on each earphone to improve the bass response.
Clear vocals and non-sibilant treble. The sound signature of these is V-shaped.
Sounds better than the ear-pods included with iPhone.
Quality of construction is excellent with heavy wires which reduce cable movement.
Cons:
Due to the size of these earphones, it may not fit for everyone and even for those it fits, you cannot wear it comfortably for more than 60 to 90 minutes.
Sub-bass extension is just noticeable but lacks the impact of much costlier IEMs.
Because of the open soundstage design, isolation is poor and you need a calm environment to enjoy these earphones.
Microphonics from the cable is present when the cable is moved, but not too bad.
Conclusion:
These are cult earphones which are internationally well acclaimed. Everyone should own one of these just to see how great these sound compared to the options in the market at just a fraction of the cost.

The product is good, but
The product is good, but the accessories provided with it are of low quality.
You should pay attention to this. The covers of Ear Plugs are very fragile and poor quality.
