Speakers with an amazing clarity and customer service
Sound as we know is subjective and can vary from person to person, I had previously read that some people may not like the Swans m10 because of their low bass, But… listening to these speakers after some time of break-in I was amazed..! I put the bass to about 35% for music and that is enough.
Quality-wise excellent at this price and even higher ranges(well maybe not higher range Swans speakers), amazing clarity with very good instrument separation.
Looks-wise also very nice and also they are pretty loud(for me 1/4th volume is enough for my medium-sized room).
The bass is not ground shaking type of and that is how I like it, not muddy at all.
Songs of almost all genres sound really nice, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Metallica, Nirvana, all sound brilliant. The only drawback I noticed was that the RCA to RCA cable could have been a bit longer.
I especially would like to mention that the service of hifinage is superb, extremely helpful, quick and really friendly. Delivery took some time but that was due to the courier company.
Final verdict: Best value for money object I’ve ever got.

Amazing!!
Breaking-in since last night, I just can’t stop listening to these things. Looks are deceiving, agree on that totally! I am amazed.
DELIVERY: Ordered through Amazon (The mistake I made) instead of the ordering of Hifinage. Amazon relies on FedEx for their deliveries and FedEx sucks big time (It should be FedUp instead of FedEx). I don’t want to go in detail there.
Swans M10 (Black): I have no words to describe its amazing clarity. Rendering highs and mids so perfectly, the bass is smooth and punchy; very evenly balanced lows(not earth-shattering bass but it can shake your window-panes), though at metal and rock you might feel the lack of extreme lows (break-ins required), well I am not a metal fan so it is perfectly all right. Superb sound stage. I doubt why other brands like Logitech, Bose, Creative can’t even come close to the perfection M10 delivers. I had Corsair SP2200, good speakers for gaming but really disgusting for music. Plus, had to bear all the hissing and crackling (manufacturing defect) led to its doom. M10’s has redefined my music collection. I am using on-board audio maybe that’s the reason I couldn’t hear a big difference between Flac and Mp3. Have to buy a good sound card.
Conclusion: Amazingly outstanding!!

Best speakers in below ten thousand. None can beat it!
First of all, many many thanks to hifinage for importing swans speaker in India. Without them, I cannot live with this musical nirvana!
It’s great. No superb set of 3 boxes. At first, I doubted the satellites cos they are so light! And sub is also not so heavy… But after listening I realised! Seriously why buy/make heavy bulky sets to produce wrong impressions that the heavier the better?
Ok, lot of praises now points:
1.SOUND QUALITY: In classical or I say fewer bass songs it’s the king in this price(in India). You can discover every song of your collection differently. Old Hindi melodies are meant for this! At least I am a student. I never heard expensive setups.
I expected a bit more thumps though. Here I wanna give a challenge: put ur hands in the subs front big ring-like shape for 5 seconds when bassy music playing :p
2.BUILD QUALITY N FINISH: Umm… Perfect but as in international version it’s covered with clothes and also comes with cotton gloves which I didn’t get 🙁
VALUE: 150 u get by paying 100!
SUPPORT AND SERVICE: Very very co-operative. They mailed me the answers of every query I have had, kept patience, thought for me, and great packaging!

Amazing speakers
Really great sounding speakers.
But two things to keep in mind.
1. Use a good audio source. Drive these speakers from a laptop, and you’ll wonder what’s the big deal. The onboard audio of a decent desktop motherboard is definitely a big step up. But the sweet spot comes with a dedicated audio solution. I saw a big difference when going from a Dell laptop or Lenovo netbook to the onboard audio (Realtek ALC892) of my Asus mobo. Then upgraded to an Asus Xonar U7. Again a noticeable difference.
2. These speakers are very positional. Place them at ear level to get the best effect. Room acoustics are also important to get a good sound experience.
Take some time and effort to get all three (speakers, source and room acoustics) right and you’re in for a treat!
