Description
The Swans M50W from Hivi is a 2.1 music system suitable for PC, PS3, CD, iPod, XBOX360, DVD as well as hi-fi music listening systems and gaming systems. It aims to produce high-quality audio for the desktop.
Featuring a powerful bass, enjoy warm and clear sounding highs and mids with two stunning wood satellite speakers, together with piano lacquer roofs and floors alongside dashing walnut veneer sides. This is joined by a powerful 6.5″ subwoofer which enables playback all the way down to 38Hz. A 20mm hard dome tweeter alongside a 3″ mid-bass driver works in response to frequencies from 120Hz to 20 kHz.
With a convenient turntable volume and power control dial, you can control your audio wherever you go. Swiftly turn your music on and off by tapping the control or spin it to get the desired volume. The indicator light will become red when the music is muted and turn blue when the music is played back on.
Equipped with an overpowering subwoofer, finished with walnut and black piano lacquer for a refined classier look, with a wider frequency range, the Swan M50W Multimedia Speaker System gives you excellent sound that fits right on your desk.

These not just look pretty but sound more than they are capable off… Mark these words M50W can get crazy Loud and not distort ( Need a good enough DAC or Amp to push clean )
What surprised me was the imaging these have very very good Left Right & Center.
Highs sound crisp and not sharp or fatigue ( Long listening sessions )
Mids are good too ( Satellite’s sound just as what they are made to )
Lows are looked after the SubWoofer and can be controlled by a knob at the back without overpowering the rest of frequencies.
Over all Sounds tight and not boomy.
Perfect for a desk set-up.

Beautiful speakers, beautiful sound
M50W is by far the most musical 2.1 system that I have heard. Purchased them without an audition and am glad to have made that decision.
I use them for music, games, movies (love that tight bass), even for listening to FM over the mobile phone.
This isn’t a spec. review and without going into the usual low/ mid/ high jargon, I would safely buy these again just for the clear and crisp music they produce.
The bass is tight with enough punch to justify the sound being produced. Haven’t been able to cross 40-45% on the bass without causing serious vibrations in my apartment. You will not be disappointed if you decide to cut off the bass and go flat. Its sound is just musical.
