Well balanced sound. Mids are right there, neither forward nor recessed. Good highs. Bass is not thumping but presented well and enjoyable. (Posted on 08/09/2018)

Tin Audio T2:

Brief Introduction:
Tin audio T2 is metal enclosed dual dynamic 12Ohms balance sounding earphone of frequency response 7Hz - 40kHz.
I believe T2 is not focused for mobile phones as there is no mic version I see. However, it supports all type of mobiles.

Review:

Packaging:
It’s a small rectangular box the earphones are packed with wires detached (used need to install), one foam ear tip and few silicone tips.
Packing is neat and wraps sealed with polythene.

Shipping:
Hifinage shipped the product immediately placing the order. They are much more responsive in Facebook messenger.
I directly paid thru bank transfer so that I got 3.25percent of discount + missed the pre-order so requested coupon from Hifinage and got 5% more.
I am extremely satisfied with their service.

Sound:
T2 is a bright sounding earphone. All the instruments are detail across all frequency. Voice is warmer and natural.
I am the owner of KZ-ZSR, ZS3, EDR1, ES4, Brainwavz-Jive, M100, Soundmagic-E10C, RHA-MA350, Xiaomi-HDPro & Headphone. None of them has crystal clear detail and voice like T2.
Bass is sufficient however a mid-bass present is low. Mid-bass is fully present in MA350, Jive & E10C but cannot compete with T2's clarity. I read in some forum bass can be improved by tweaking a tiny hole on the housing. But I had not tried. Soundstage is wider and the presentation is good but below the KZ-ZSR. Overall I love the sound.

Comfort:
It is lightweight and extremely comfortable. The wearing style is around the ear but no memory wires are provided. But I feel more comfortable wearing interchanging the wires and straight away plug on to ears. But that will change Left and right. For sound isolation, one can use the supplier foam tips. With silicone tips the isolation is poor. I don’t feel any fatigue though.

What don’t I like/expect?
MMCX connector - Am not sure how reliable it is.
MIC could be optional as the source is your mobile phone.
A decent pouch or box instead of the faux leather laminated packing box.

Conclusion
The better-built quality, more detailed natural sounding vocals and comfort wearing make this earphone top in my list.
The good alternative is KZ-ZS5/ZS6 with wider soundstage but those are painful to ears for long listening hours. (Posted on 29/08/2018)

Testing for a few weeks now with my Aune M1s and loving this IEM so far. Initial Impressions are :
These are meant to be worn over the ear
The highs are crisp and nice sounding with the included foams.
All frequencies(except sub-bass) are well articulated though politely... But an engaging sound nonetheless.
Personally, I find the bass to be good enough without the vent mod.
With the included foams, I had pressure issues in my ear. This was fixed after getting QKZ foam tips.
They were too bright and harsh with the included silicons(wide as well as narrow bore). The foams smoothed that out quite a bit.
Everything is well presented and sounds polished.

Treble: has enough air to breathe but is well controlled and non-fatiguing. Could be a little more extended though.
Mids: Are well presented and ever so slightly forward.
Bass: is well controlled and taut and goes quite deep so that I can "feel" it. Could do with more texture.

Everything sounds natural without any strange tones.
Coming from the SE215s darker signature the T2 is quite refreshing for me. Highly Recommended!
Sound at this price point is excellent. (Posted on 31/07/2018)

Non-troublesome support and service from hifinage.
Fast delivery, although extra is charged for cash on delivery which is weird.

After using for a few weeks, here's my review.

Build quality and design: Built and designed like a tank, cable is tough, although plugging in and out the mmcx cable needs some getting used to. One must be careful to not apply too much pressure while doing so.
One thing I noticed was that the speaker grill in these is larger than I've seen in most earphones.

I used to own the piston basic before these, and sleeping on your side while wearing these is a bit easier than with the pistons since they don't extend outwards that much.

Accessories: The earphone comes with foam eartips which are the only ones to fit in my ears. The accessories included are silicone eartips of various sizes and bore radius. The eartips with smaller bore radius alter the sound by reducing the bass and making the already detailed treble hot, overall making the sound signature cooler which is a strict no.
Foam eartips tire the ears after long use although they provide better isolation than silicone eartips.
Please keep in mind that eartip material does not alter the sound quality, only the bore shape and size. If foam eartips make your sound warmer, you are wearing them wrong.

Sound: You can drive these loud without an external amp because of their 16 ohm impedance. They pair just fine with a smartphone.
Signature overall neutral and enjoyable, one spectrum doesn't overpower the other.
Imaging is good for the average user, wide soundstage.
There is no sound leakage.

Lows: Very much present, but rolls off in the sub bass region. I've heard application of blue tac in the internal vent (a tiny hole near the speaker grill) helps to increase the sub bass but haven't tried it yet.
Mids: Accurate and natural sounding.
Highs: Clear and detailed, rolls off in the 5k-10k region.
EQing is recommended since every person hears differently. Samsung phones have this feature called adapt sound to do just that, adjusted for your hearing, so that you are able to hear more detail clearly.

These earphones provide great value for money although they are a bit over priced here.
They are currently the best you can get under 10k in India, considering build quality, design and sound.
I would prefer these over hifiman re400, and the titans.

Thank you for reading, hope you found my review helpful. (Posted on 28/07/2018)
